New CEO appointed for Gebwell’s Swedish subsidiary
Gebwell Sverige AB, a Swedish subsidiary of Finland-based Gebwell, has a new CEO. Conny Dyrenäs has been appointed as CEO of the subsidiary, which provides environmentally friendly and energy-efficient real estate heating and cooling solutions. He has already taken up his duties.
The Swedish subsidiary’s incumbent CEO, Janne Rahunen, will from now on focus on his duties as CEO of Gebwell Finland and on leading Gebwell Group as a whole. At its meeting of 10 June, the Board of Directors appointed Conny Dyrenäs as the company’s new CEO in Sweden, and he started work on 14 June 2021.
“We want to have a much larger footprint in the Swedish market going forward. Gebwell Group as a whole aims for strong international growth, and expansion in Sweden plays a key role in this. Dyrenäs will have more performance-oriented responsibilities for the regional development of sales and other functions. As an experienced CEO, he is a great fit for the job”, says Janne Rahunen, CEO of Gebwell Group.
Before his new post, Dyrenäs has served as CEO of Gunnar Karlsen Rör AB, a leading contractor and service partner in Scandinavia.

Gebwell has been operating in Sweden since 2015. In May, the company signed a contract with Swedish energy company Kraftringen to supply heat pumps to a geoenergy plant to be built in Stångby in southern Sweden. The heat pumps will serve as the foundation for the local district heating system, which will provide a comprehensive heating network for the new homes being built in the area.
