Does your next heat pump meet the tightening F-gas requirements?

F-gas regulation is becoming stricter step by step, making refrigerant choices increasingly important for the long-term value of heat pump investments. G-Eco is a climate-safe commercial heat pump that uses natural R290 refrigerant. R290 has a GWP of only 0.02 and is not classified as a PFAS substance.

Natural refrigerant – R290

G-Eco heat pumps use the natural refrigerant R290, which delivers excellent performance with minimal environmental impact. This choice supports sustainable development and complies with increasingly strict environmental regulations. Over 100,000 times smaller climate impact than that of the refrigerant R410A.

Energy-efficient domestic hot water production

With a heat pump, you can also produce domestic hot water efficiently. G-Eco Core can generate supply water up to 75 °C, enabling effective hot water production even in demanding conditions – without the need for electric heaters.

RemoteControlG-EcoGreen

Smart control and remote monitoring

With the Gebwell Smart service, G-Eco heat pump operation can be monitored and controlled remotely, allowing system optimization and quick response to any irregularities.

Why does the refrigerant matter?

EU regulation on heat pump refrigerants is becoming stricter step by step. For new systems, requirements will change in the coming years, and the choices made today can affect the lifetime, maintainability and value of the investment.

Too often, heat pump solutions are selected based only on the current situation – without looking far enough ahead to future regulatory changes.

This is why the right refrigerant choice is an important part of managing the risks of a heat pump investment.

G-Eco – a climate-safe heat pump for buildings

G-Eco heat pumps use the natural refrigerant R290, which has a GWP of 0.02 and an ODP of 0. By comparison, the GWP of R410A refrigerant is 2,088. In terms of GWP, the climate impact of R290 is therefore more than 100,000 times lower than that of R410A.

The solution is designed to meet tightening requirements in both new construction and renovation projects.

G-Eco is especially suitable for applications where:

  • a solution is needed that also meets future requirements
  • high supply temperatures are required
  • an existing radiator or heating system is used
  • the long service life of the investment is important
