Gebwell sets its sights on growth and begins search for a new CEO
The Board of Directors of Gebwell Oy, a manufacturer of heat pump and district heating solutions, has initiated the search for a new CEO. The company is aiming for strong, profitable growth both in Finland and internationally. The goal is to find a CEO who will lead the company’s next stage of development over the long term.
Gebwell’s Board of Directors and current CEO Martti Artama have jointly agreed that, as the Board begins planning a new strategy period focused on growth, Artama will step down from his role as of 14 September 2026. During the search for a new CEO, the company will be led by interim CEO Kimmo Kedonpää, a member of Gebwell’s Board of Directors. He has extensive industrial experience, including as CEO of Pipelife Finland.
Anssi Lehikoinen, Chair of Gebwell’s Board of Directors, thanks Martti Artama on behalf of the entire company for his contribution to Gebwell.
“Martti moved from the company’s Board of Directors to the role of CEO during a period of change. Under his leadership, Gebwell has focused on improving the quality and efficiency of its operations, while also investing in product development, sales and employee experience. These measures have created the conditions for us to now move forward and focus on strengthening growth. Gebwell’s revenue development is positive across all market areas and business segments. We are a forerunner in heat pumps using natural refrigerants. The company’s profitability is also developing positively,” says Lehikoinen.
