Refrigerant and emissions

Future-proof heat

G-Eco ground source heat pumps use the R290 refrigerant. Its GWP value is 0.02, and it contains no PFAS substances. R290 already meets the requirements of the tightening F-gas regulation.

Production, lifecycle and environmental information

Gebwell’s environmental management system has been awarded the ISO 14001:2015 certification. It ensures environmental matters are taken into account in, for example, production and product development. Our operations are certified in accordance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Our Taurus EVI and Inverter Pro heat pump has been issued an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), a third-party verified declaration based on a life cycle assessment, enabling the comparison of the environmental impacts of two products performing the same function.

Gebwell’s Code of Conduct is strongly supported by our company’s values: customer orientation, innovation, desire for development, reliability, and partnership. Family business, own R&D and manufacturing

Gebwell is a Finnish, family-owned manufacturer of heat pumps and district heating substations, founded in 2006. Our headquarters and production facilities are located in Leppävirta, the heating capital of Finland, where we design and manufacture heating and cooling equipment.

Clear rules and a way to report concerns

Our goal is to promote transparency, responsibility and fairness in our company. Through Whistleblow, anyone can anonymously report possible abuses and worrying events.
