They’re here! Gebwell G-Eco heat pumps with natural refrigerant
Gebwell’s new G-Eco heat pumps use the natural R290 refrigerant, which has a GWP of only 0,02. In comparison, R410A, a common refrigerant used in heat pumps, has a GWP of 2,088.
G-Eco heat pumps are our solution to the tightened F-gas Regulation aimed at restricting the placing of devices and products that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases with a high global warming potential on the market. R290 was chosen as a refrigerant for our new heat pumps due to its excellent properties, it allows for high output temperatures.
The first G-Eco heat pumps available are the G-Eco Core 40 heat pump for buildings and the more powerful G-Eco Pro 120 heat pump.
