Gebwell Smart - A Smart environment for heating devices

All Gebwell Smart heating devices with smart features are linked to a cloud service already at Gebwell’s factory. The cloud service utilises IoT technology in a secure manner.

The cloud service collects valuable data from the devices that are used in the smart control of the device and for the continued development of functions. (The cloud service and IoT technology enable the spot-price electricity control available for Aries heat pumps.)

Gebwell Smart heating devices are delivered from our factory equipped with an internet connection. The internet connection with data costs and the Gebwell Smart service are included in the delivery of any Gebwell Smart device free of charge for two years.

Gebwell Smart Environment enables remote control of heating device

Each Gebwell Smart device is connected to the Gebwell Smart server, which enables real-time remote control of the devices via the browser-based Gebwell Smart Hub. Aries heat pumps can also be monitored and controlled by using the Gebwell Smart app downloaded to your smart device.

The data collected from Gebwell Smart heating devices is stored in the secure Gebwell Smart service.

Gebwell Aries ground source heat pumps can be controlled by using the Gebwell Smart app, which is available in app stores for iOS and Android devices. Learn more about the Gebwell Smart app.

Smart heat pumps for real estate and district heating substations are managed locally using the device’s control panel or online using the browser-based Gebwell Smart Hub.

If needed, the Gebwell Smart Hub shows the status and possible maintenance needs of each heat pump and district heating substation connected to the Gebwell Smart cloud in real time.

Gebwell Smart Hub – a browser-based user interface

Gebwell Smart heat pumps and G-Power Smart district heating substations are connected via a cloud service to the browser-based Gebwell Smart Hub, from which the installation/maintenance company can see the real-time status of the Gebwell Smart heating devices they have installed.

Monitoring and controlling the heating system online using a browser-based service ensures carefree, more energy efficient heating. The technical telephone support included in the Gebwell Smart Hub service provides assistance to users in the event of a malfunction.

The Gebwell Smart Hub overview shows the device details, the details of the company that installed the device, the device’s latest events and, at the bottom, the temperatures of the supply water and domestic water, the room temperature and electricity consumption.

In Gebwell Smart Hub, you can:

monitor the operation of your Gebwell Smart device in real time;
control the operation of the system and adjust the system settings;
view real-time system alarms and notifications;
locate faults in the system and provide instructions to maintenance personnel;
perform repairs remotely, saving on labour and costs; and
monitor the operation of the system over a longer period of time through reporting.

Gebwell Smart service available to you free of charge for two years

As of 1 January 2025, the Gebwell Smart service will be included in the delivery of any Gebwell Smart device free of charge for the first two years. After that, the property owner can continue the Gebwell Smart subscription with the following options:

Aries heat pumps: Smart Koti or Smart Koti Plus service.
Heat pumps for real estate (T3, Gemini Inverter, Taurus EVI and EVIC, Taurus Inverter Pro, G-Eco Core and G-Eco Pro): Smart Kiinteistö or Smart Kiinteistö Plus service.

The same service packages are available for Gebwell Smart heat pumps that have already been commissioned.

The controller and features of Gebwell Smart heating devices are being continuously developed in cooperation with experts and users to ensure the best possible user experience.
