Gebwell expands the use of Alfa Laval’s plate heat exchangers to district heating substations

Gebwell Ltd., a manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment from Leppävirta, will start using Alfa Laval’s extensive collection of high-quality heat exchangers in the district heating substations it manufactures during the spring of 2018. Previously, Gebwell has already used Alfa Laval’s heat exchangers in manufacturing heat pumps.

“We believe that the cooperation that is now starting will have a positive effect on both the quality of the products manufactured as well as our ability to deliver,” Tuure Stenberg, CEO of Gebwell Ltd., says about the deepening cooperation.

Gebwell is the market leader among the suppliers of heating equipment for buildings in Finland. We are seeking growth in the Nordic countries in particular. We also intend to strengthen our position in the Central European heating equipment market. The cooperation with Alfa Laval provides a good foundation for growth,” Stenberg says.

We are excited about the opportunity to deliver high-quality HVAC solutions to the district heating market in cooperation with Gebwell Ltd.,” says Mikael Hellborg, Division Manager of Alfa Laval Nordic’s Energy Division.

Alfa Laval is the heat exchanger market leader, and the strategic goal is to increase the market share in HVAC technology. Cooperation with Gebwell Ltd. is a step in the right direction,” Hellborg says.
