Gregor Schober Appointed Export Manager for the DACH Region

Gebwell strengthens its international sales organisation and has appointed Gregor Schober as Export Manager responsible for the DACH region, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“It is great to welcome a true professional to our team. Success in the German market requires knowledge of the local language and culture, a strong local presence, and excellent language skills. Hiring Gregor is an important step in growing our export business,” says Seppo Hakanen, Chief Commercial Officer at Gebwell Ltd.

Originally from Austria, Schober has extensive experience in the international heating and energy technology sector. He holds a technical qualification in mechanical engineering as well as a business degree from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. Throughout his career, he has worked in international sales, export business and market development, most recently as an Export Manager.

Schober’s technical expertise focuses on renewable heating solutions, including biomass heating, heat pumps and integrated energy solutions. He sees Gebwell as a strong combination of technical expertise, Finnish manufacturing and sustainable heating and cooling solutions.

“I see a strong connection between Gebwell’s product portfolio and my own professional background. I am excited about the opportunity to develop Gebwell’s business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while building long-term customer relationships and partnerships,” says Schober.

Interest in energy-efficient and low-carbon heating solutions continues to grow across the DACH region. Schober sees particular opportunities in ground source heat pumps as well as larger integrated heating, cooling and energy storage solutions.

“Gebwell has strong technical expertise and a broad product portfolio that provides an excellent foundation for international growth. I especially look forward to meeting customers and partners and increasing Gebwell’s visibility in the DACH markets,” Schober concludes.
