From fossil oil to ecological geothermal energy at Kämmenniemi School
Kämmenniemi School and Daycare Centre in Tampere now have a sustainable heating solution after replacing the old oil heating system with a G-Eco ground source heat pump system. The new system utilises the natural refrigerant R290 and is prepared for future cooling and heat recovery solutions.
The school and daycare buildings, covering more than 8,000 m², are now heated with a heat pump system that uses a natural refrigerant. The system was implemented by North Energy Solutions Oy, and the design was carried out by Sweco Finland.
