Virva Liimatainen appointed Procurement Manager

Virva Liimatainen joined Gebwell Ltd. as Procurement Manager on August 12th, as Teemu Koponen will be moving on to another company during the autumn. We warmly thank Teemu for his valuable contribution and commitment to developing our procurement operations and wish him every success in his future challenges.

Virva is responsible for managing procurement operations and contributing to their strategic development in support of the Production Director. Her duties include managing supplier relationships and procurement contracts, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of materials. In addition, Virva develops procurement processes and serves as the supervisor of the procurement team.

Virva holds a BBA degree from Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences. She has extensive experience in various procurement roles, including more than 15 years in a global operating environment. Most recently, she worked as Purchasing Manager at Valtra and before that as Sourcing Manager at Airbus Defence and Space and as Supply Manager at Nokia Networks. Virva has also held managerial positions leading procurement teams.
