Minna, Summer Worker

Minna, who studies energy and process engineering at Tampere University, starts her fourth year of studies in autumn 2025. She is working at Gebwell over the summer in production planning.

“I saw the job posting for the open summer position and got interested right away, because it clearly related to my studies,” Minna says.

Over the summer, Minna has been responsible for scheduling production for different products – district heating substations, ground source heat pumps and accumulators – and has been in contact with customers regarding deliveries. Her workdays are spent in close collaboration with production managers, sales, design and order processing.

“The best part of the job has been seeing the whole chain: how an order becomes a finished product and gets delivered to the customer. I’ve also learned a lot about production planning and using the ERP system.”

The technical skills from her studies have been useful, but over the summer Minna has also learned to trust her own abilities and to quickly grasp large, complex wholes.

“Gebwell has a great working atmosphere, and property heating is an important and interesting part of the energy sector. I could easily see myself coming back here in the future.”
