Tommi, 3D Design

About five years ago, Tommi joined us for his first summer internship while studying to become an engineer in the mechanical engineering program.

We asked Tommi a few questions about his time as an intern.

What were your original tasks when you first came to Gebwell?

I interned at Gebwell for two summers before graduating. During my internships, I got to help other designers with customer orders, such as making production drawings for district heating substations and accumulator products for welding and assembly. My other tasks included various production support duties, such as updating and maintaining 3D models and drawings.

Have you stayed in the same role, or has your role changed?

These days I work as a team lead in the 3D design team, which is responsible for the 3D design and production drawings for customer orders of substation products and special accumulators.
